Parque Quilquico hotel provides guests with a sustainable experience in the economic, environmental, and socio-cultural aspects. the green seal obtained in 2012, distinguished by an “s,” is the official endorsement given by Sernatur to establishments that meet global criteria for tourism sustainability.

The hotel was a national pioneer in receiving this seal, recognizing its initial conception as an ecological project with low environmental impact that involves local inhabitants in various phases, generating quality employment and committing to the community. for these reasons, Parque Quilquico has been recognized twice by Fedetur, the federation of tourism companies of Chile, as the “most sustainable tourism company”: in 2012 with an honorable mention and in 2016 with the annual award in the medium and large enterprise category.

Located on the Rilán peninsula, the project commissioned by its owners to architect Edward Rojas, a reference in architecture for his extensive career that rescues and enhances the heritage of Chiloé, integrated and preserved the beautiful undulating landscapes of various heights and native trees, including luma, Coigue, Olivillo, Arrayan, canelo, avellano, and Tepu. from the location, there is an almost untouched view of the Dalcahue channel and Quinchao island.
